Hello family and friends!

This is Kevin and Kristi’s new blog/vlog (weblog/videolog) on the Internet. We’ve created this to help keep family and friends updated on the happenings in our lives. As most of you know, Kristi is now 7 months along - and we’ll be expecting a little Kevin (actual name will be Logan) here in a couple months. We’ll be going tomorrow for the ‘4-D’ ultrasound - where you can basically tell almost exactly what your baby will look like. As another neat feature of a ‘blog/vlog’ like this, I will be able to post the video of that ultrasound here for everyone to see. More to come.

blog is ‘weblog’ and vlog is ‘videolog’. I updated the main post to show this now. I finally broke down and studied up on these a little since I kept hearing all the hype about them. Very cool though - because it gives me one spot to post all pictures, video, and news about the family - and let’s us keep in touch in one spot as well. I’ll probably be converting the picture albums over here as well.

Just a note. Hope all is well and continues to be……you guys will be great parents. Thanks for keeping us posted on the news. Hope you can get this way after the baby comes….would love to see ya…. Take care…we love you guys.

Hey Ralph and Juanita!! How’s the weather over there in the orange state? RAINY here - but we needed it!
Hope to see you guys soon as well. Miss you guys. Hopefully we’ll have a decent team this year eh?
Keep checking back often - as I’ll be posting updates as they come along. This is really neat technology.

The video is great! Grandmother got to look at it, too. I’m so happy for you both. It appears that he already has lots of hair. Can’t wait to hold him in person. Does the date on the video of 06/26/06 mean that they think the baby might come earlier?

Hey Mom,
So glad you and grandmother both got to see it. Actually, we thought the same thing about the hair - but the ultrasound tech said that isn’t hair .. it’s something to do with the ultrasound. BUT, if you look towards the end of the second video, you can see where she gets a shot of the back of his head. The ’spikey’ white-looking ’stuff’ IS actually his hair. Go figure. I’m sure he’ll have lots of it if he takes after the Russell side.
He MIGHT come that early .. but Dr. Torres said that we shouldn’t take him any earlier than needed - because his lungs can be underdeveloped .. even if he’s already a large size baby. We’ll be keeping you informed though as to when he might be arriving.

These pictures are amazing. I know you both will be great parents. Our daughter-in-law will have another 4-D done on Friday. Hopefully we will get to see his face this time. Both of these babies will be here before we know it. God is Good!!

The pictures were very good. Kristi, his face is round like yours, but his brow line looks like Kevin. Hope I am right when you see him. I like guessing what they are going to look like. Bless you both, just glad it is not us going thru this again. He is such a big baby. He is just a little fatty….with big feet.HA!

So glad that you and Logan are doing well and that we got to be there for the birth. We miss getting to hold him but know that we can stay in touch by video. I know that he has two parents that love him very much. Give him a hug for us every day. We are so proud of all of you.

Logan is a very cute little boy and fat as a pig. I am glad it is over for you and that you all are enjoying him. I hope everything is going ok with you three. How are you feeling? How is the night feedings going? I bet you are glad grandma is there. I tried Sandra’s cell phone and she has it off. Just wanted to know if you all were doing
ok. Juanita tried to call you, but she said no one answered the phone. She may have gotten you by now thou. He is a sweet looking baby. Just hope he is a good baby for you.
