Fans efforts may have saved ‘Jericho’

Posted by Kevin on June 6th, 2007

JerichoWell, as they always say, 'don't count your chickens before they hatch' - but it looks like our efforts to resurrect the cancelled CBS drama 'Jericho' - my favorite show - may have worked.

After 40,000+ pounds of peanuts sent to CBS Headquarters in NY and LA, a full-page ad in both the Daily Variety and Hollywood Reporter entertainment-sector magazines, and thousands upon thousands of calls and letters to CBS - it looks like it MIGHT have paid off.

Check out this blog article on the LA Times website from today (06/05/07) - with an interview with Carol Barbee - Executive Producer of 'Jericho'.

We're keeping fingers crossed - and I'll update on here if something official comes out from CBS themselves soon.

With all this effort spent to save this great show, please give this show a watch IF it does come back.  And you can watch full episodes of Season 1 now at http://cbs.com/jericho. I promise you won't be disappointed.  It's very family-oriented - very gripping - and very addictive.  Be prepared to be entertained.

Also, on a family note, Kristi and I have our 5-month doctor's appointment tomorrow - so please keep us and Baby Russell in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy baby.

Thanks - and we'll post back soon.   Kevin

Thanks Michael - it did go well. God blessed us in this manner - and we will keep praying that all continues to go well. Also, the show came back if you can believe it! The dedicated efforts of us fans paid off! Watch the show starting July 6th on Fridays at 8pm CST please! You won’t be sorry you did! It’s a wonderful show.
