** UPDATED* Second Baby Russell 20-week Ultrasound - plus new Logan Pictures

Posted by Kevin on 14th June 2007

Hi all,

** UPDATE **:  I fixed the video problem with not being able to 'move forward' or see how much time was left in the video.  You may now drag the time slider-bar forward in the video (once enough of the video loads).

Okay - hopefully I haven't inundated everyone with too much 'Jericho' information lately.  Needless to say, it's a wonderful show that can be watched with the whole family - and will keep you on the edge of your seat.  See what the largest show cancellation protest in TV history was all about when it re-airs starting with the First Season on Fridays this Summer starting July 6th, 2007 at 8pm CST (9pm EST).  7 new episodes will follow not long after that - possibly at the first of the year - but I'll post back when they officially announce it.

IMG_4390.JPGNew pictures of Logan at 11-months:
We finally got time also to post pictures of Logan at 11 months from around June 1st.  Logan has grown a lot - and is crawling and pulling up on things very well!  Most say he looks like his momma right now - which probably isn't a bad thing!  Just click the picture to the left of this to view the new photo album.  Best way to view all the pictures is to click the picture on the left - then click 'View Slideshow' when the album comes up.

Now for more good stuff:  I also finally got a chance to convert and upload the 20-week ultrasound video of the second Baby Russell that is due in October.  You can't see a lot at first - but it gets better shortly after that.  Plus - at the end - you can see baby stick it's thumb in it's mouth.  And some of you may already know - but this baby is a baby girl!

(you can see this at around 8min 30secs into the video)

Just click in the middle of the video to start playing.  You may also click the small 'square' icon next to the volume below the video to make it 'full-screen'.  (then press your ESC key when done viewing)

Hope you enjoy - and please let us hear from you via the comments!  We'd love to hear from you!

JERICHO, CBS's drama about how residents of a small, peaceful, Kansas town band together to survive in the wake of a nuclear explosion, will return to the Network beginning Friday, July 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).  Rebroadcasts of episodes from the first season will air in the Friday, 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT time period for the remainder of the summer.

JERICHO, which last week received a seven episode mid-season order following an impassioned display of fan support, will return on July 6 with a rebroadcast of the pilot episode.

On July 13, CBS will present back-to-back broadcasts beginning with "Return to Jericho" (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), which recapped the first 11 episodes, followed by episode 12, "The Day Before" (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), which launched "Jericho's" spring return.

The remaining summer broadcasts will consist of episodes 13–22, in which tensions continue to escalate between Jericho and the neighboring town of New Bern as they battle the Kansas winter, dwindling resources and the uncertainty of a new world. The citizens of Jericho must now find a way to unite against these hardships, working together to preserve their community and their way of life as they prepare for an all out battle for survival in the season finale.

Jon Turteltaub, Stephen Chobsky and Carol Barbee are executive producers of JERICHO for CBS Paramount Network Television.

Please be sure to checkout the show starting Friday, July 6th, 2007 – and be sure to tell all your friends, family, co-workers, and anyone you know about the show!

This is a wonderful family show that ALL may watch.

Nuts Save Jericho

Posted by Kevin on 6th June 2007

WE DID IT!

40,000 pounds of nuts later, and after the largest grass-roots campaign to save a television show ever, an official announcement was made today by Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment:

Fans, and new possible fans of the show, 7 new episodes have been ordered - but to survive - you need to help watch the show LIVE - and through CBS.COM/jericho on ‘Innertube’.  This summer, CBS will be airing the entire season 1 - so please watch for details on this.  Season 2 will probably air around the first of next year (2008).  According to the show’s producers, shooting for Season 2 will start in about 4-5 weeks from now.  Also, the entire Season 1 DVD set should go on sale around September 25th - so watch for that.  We will of course post details as they become available.

The fight isn’t over - but looks much more promising now.  Keep spreading the word - and most of all - ENJOY THE SHOW!

Below is a message from CBS Entertainment.

June 6, 2007

To the Fans of Jericho:

Wow!

Over the past few weeks you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series. You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard.

As a result, CBS has ordered seven episodes of “Jericho” for mid-season next year.  In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more “Jericho,” we will need more viewers.

A loyal and passionate community has clearly formed around the show.  But that community needs to grow.   It needs to grow on the CBS Television Network, as well as on the many digital platforms where we make the show available.

We will count on you to rally around the show, to recruit new viewers with the same grass-roots energy, intensity and volume you have displayed in recent weeks.

At this time, I cannot tell you the specific date or time period that “Jericho” will return to our schedule.  However, in the interim, we are working on several initiatives to help introduce the show to new audiences.  This includes re-broadcasting “Jericho” on CBS this summer, streaming episodes and clips from these episodes across the CBS Audience Network (online), releasing the first season DVD on September 25 and continuing the story of Jericho in the digital world until the new episodes return. We will let you know specifics when we have them so you can pass them on.

On behalf of everyone at CBS, thank you for expressing your support of “Jericho” in such an extraordinary manner.  Your protest was creative, sustained and very thoughtful and respectful in tone.  You made a difference.

Sincerely,

Nina Tassler

President, CBS Entertainment

P.S.      Please stop sending us nuts  :)

Fans efforts may have saved ‘Jericho’

Posted by Kevin on 6th June 2007

JerichoWell, as they always say, 'don't count your chickens before they hatch' - but it looks like our efforts to resurrect the cancelled CBS drama 'Jericho' - my favorite show - may have worked.

After 40,000+ pounds of peanuts sent to CBS Headquarters in NY and LA, a full-page ad in both the Daily Variety and Hollywood Reporter entertainment-sector magazines, and thousands upon thousands of calls and letters to CBS - it looks like it MIGHT have paid off.

Check out this blog article on the LA Times website from today (06/05/07) - with an interview with Carol Barbee - Executive Producer of 'Jericho'.

We're keeping fingers crossed - and I'll update on here if something official comes out from CBS themselves soon.

With all this effort spent to save this great show, please give this show a watch IF it does come back.  And you can watch full episodes of Season 1 now at http://cbs.com/jericho. I promise you won't be disappointed.  It's very family-oriented - very gripping - and very addictive.  Be prepared to be entertained.

Also, on a family note, Kristi and I have our 5-month doctor's appointment tomorrow - so please keep us and Baby Russell in your thoughts and prayers for a healthy baby.

Thanks - and we'll post back soon.   Kevin
